Good morning, I wanted to ask you a question. I would like to buy the shaping machine but I wanted to use it with my custom shapes from Chiarugi, for which I have all the measurements(of the tip ). Would it be possible to make a personal shape that i can use on the machine ?

The Rimpl machines are not suitable for Chiarugi shapes.

"I'm new to Irish piping and have decided to try and make my own reeds. I have to get a few other items, watch some videos and then give it a try. I haven't made a reed yet but am hopeful. Initially, when I reached out to Medir and put in an order, I wasn't fully aware how things worked. I had sent some emails to the wrong address and didn't get an answer and eventually discovered the correct way, i.e. use their contact us link on their site page. I received my package in short time and the reed material looks fine. I bought both 25/27 mm and 27/29 mm as was suggested to me by the piper from whom I took a class in reed-making and who suggested Medir to me as a reed source. Thank you."
